The 2015 Rubicon Hard Rock Edition of the Jeep Wrangler is a spectacular vehicle that shows what it's really made of, it's when you get it off the pavement.

If you're an off-road enthusiast you should know all about the Hungry Valley located in the Tejon Pass just north of Los Angeles. Most Los Angeles residents interested in the Jeep Wrangler here at Sierra Jeep are very familiar with it.

Hungry Valley's vehicle Recreation Area has more than 19,000 acres and around 130 miles of trails for beginners, intermediates, and experts. It also has sand washes and steep hill climbs for 4wD vehicle owners. The Rubicon's Rock-Trac 4x4 System will have you tackling these trails, washes, and hills with ease.

It comes standard with some impressive base components including a 4:1 low gear ratio, super tough Rock-Trac transfer case, brake lock differentials, and an electronic front sway bar disconnect.
The Hard Rock Edition also includes 17-inch aluminum wheels with 32-inch off-road tires that really make an impact when you get off the Los Angeles streets and into the dirt. Under the hood specs include:

  • Engine: 3.6L 24-valve VVT V6
  • Power: 285 hp at 6400 rpm
  • Torque: 260 lb.-ft. at 4800 rpm
  • Transmission: 6-speed manual
