What an amazing year for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles! Let's take our mind back to 2015 and take a second glance at a few achievements, awards, and other events that Chrysler made fulfilled in 2015.
Let's start with their outstanding marketing team, the Associating of National Advertisers is a representative body for the marketing community in the United States with over 600 company memberships. Fiat Chrysler is one of these companies and was one of the automotive sponsors of the American Music Awards. Their music videos produced over three billion view while Chrysler clearly made an effort to engage with customers of many different groups, for this reason they were awarded the Multicultural Excellence Awards in 2015.
There was also exciting news if you have a family. Chrysler stated that the company will begin giving free college tuition to employee's kids and spouses. Last year, the rate at which people left their job across all positions was just under 40%. The intention of this program is to help maintain top-quality employees in an increasingly competitive market.
Strategic Vision is an independent research company that studies consumer behavior and has worldwide experience developing tools to measure decision-making. In 2015 Fiat Chrysler made it on their list as the leader in six different segments for the Top Quality Awards. If you take a trip back to 2010 and you'll see Chrysler was only named in one segment for that year.
Overall 2015 was a tremendous year for FCA. They reported selling just over 2.2 million trucks and cars last year, up 7% from 2014. December also brought the highest sales recorded for that month since they started the business more than 90 years ago! This marks the automaker's sixth consecutive year for stateside sales growth, the progress they have made over the past six years is incredible. I'm very excited to see what Chrysler has planned for 2016.
